I Help Heart-Led Founders and Nonprofit Teams Make Marketing Less Overwhelming.
I'm Mary Tighe (rhymes with sky).
I don't think you need more marketing tactics. You need more time. More clarity. More confidence that what you're doing is actually working.
I started this business because I was tired of seeing smart, mission-driven people burn out trying to be everywhere at once. Tired of watching great organizations struggle because they're told they need to show up on every platform, follow every trend, and do more with less.
I believe small businesses and nonprofits should have access to the same level of strategic thinking that big brands get. Just with a more attainable price tag.
That's what I'm here for. Not to add to your plate, but to help you figure out what actually belongs on it.
What's Different Here
I don't chase vanity metrics. We focus on what actually drives results for your business—revenue, donations, real relationships with your audience.
Every strategy is custom. What works for one organization won't work for another. I don't do cookie-cutter plans.
You don't need to be everywhere. We figure out where your audience is and focus there, so you're not spreading yourself thin.
Ben Gist, Farm Journal
“Mary is a quick study who can easily plug into projects with little support. She's a joy to work with and brings a fresh perspective to business needs.”
Ginger Smithwick, Cornett
“Mary has been able to plug in seamlessly, asking smart, clarifying questions up front to ensure she delivers what we need.”
How I Got Here
For years, I worked in places where the marketing didn't match the mission.
I was in nonprofit departments where boards cared more about follower counts than actual impact. I worked at agencies where we massaged data to "tell a good story" for clients, even when the real story was that the strategy wasn't working. I did PR for organizations that wanted national press coverage without any newsworthy stories.
And I kept seeing the same problem: people chasing vanity metrics that look good in reports but don't actually drive results.
Likes on Instagram. Website traffic that never converts. Email lists that nobody opens. It all feels productive until you realize it's not moving the needle on the things that actually matter, like revenue, donations, relationships with your audience.
So in 2023, I went out on my own. Not because I had some grand plan, but because I wanted to work with people who cared more about building something sustainable than inflating their follower count.
And here's what I love about this work: I get to help heart-led founders and nonprofit teams see their work clearly. Like sorting a puzzle where they've been trying to force the wrong pieces together, and I help them figure out which ones actually belong.
One client told me she slept better after our first workshop. That's what I'm here for. Not to add more tactics to your plate, but to help you get clear on what matters and build marketing that's intentional, focused, and sustainable.
Life's too short to stay in hustle mode. Get the right pieces in place, and everything will finally make sense.
