A Little About Me

I’ve been chasing stories since the 1st grade.

One of my earliest creations, The Haunted Manor, told the tale of my younger brother’s fear of a haunted house. The plot was thin. The illustrations were worse. But the goal was clear: to understand his experience and turn it into something worth sharing.

That instinct still drives my work today, just with fewer crayons and a lot more strategy.

With a background in journalism and more than a decade in marketing, I now help teams turn scattered content into clear, audience-centered strategies. I’ve built content plans for everything from pregnancy tests to AI platforms, helping brands like Clearblue, Aspirin and Generac connect more meaningfully with the people they serve.

I believe content marketing should be:

Energizing, not exhausting.
Empathetic, not performative.
Backed by research, not guesswork.

That starts with knowing your audience deeply, aligning your team, and building a plans that’s actually doable. No fluff. No one-size-fits-all frameworks. Just smart, human-centered strategy designed around your people and your goals.

“Mary has been able to plug in seamlessly, asking smart, clarifying questions up front to ensure she delivers what we need.”
